metromorphosis
Art project that explores the parallels between nature and metro stations.
In nature, patterns may be seen everywhere. These visible regularities of form appear frequently, in many contexts. They are simple, stunning, and exist independently from and beyond human actions.
Using tree branch-like sculptures to mirror the structure of metro stations, the installation symbolizes imperfections in our connection with the natural world. Plants and flowers hanging on the branches signify new beginnings, and the root-like structures inside the kiosk represent the interconnectedness of human creations with their origins. The effective interplay of lights and shadows creates a visually engaging experience, offering viewers a sneak peek into the choreography of nature within urban spaces.
Overall, "Metromorphosis" aims to awaken awareness about our relationship with the environment, and how every creation is turning and ending where it begins.
