the planet once more
My current project centers on the significance of water in its various forms. Through capturing prints of water surfaces, I aim to highlight its ever-changing nature. The idea that 'No man ever steps in the same river twice' highlights the constant change of both the river and the person. In this iteration, I'm experimenting with cyanotype techniques on both paper and fabric, delving into water patterns and discovering novel artistic approaches. Each print captures a moment of mesmerizing dance of light and shadow on the water's surface of the Togean Islands in Sulawesi. The deep blue tones reflect the mystery of this unique location, where the Earth's two hemispheres almost touch.
The tangled patterns evoke a sense of immersion, the secrets held by the currents, where light and darkness intertwine in an endless, fluid rhythm.
